Company

From the very beginning, mefro ROUES FRANCE has concentrated its efforts on developing specific technical solutions for the automotive industry.

The company was founded in La Chapelle St Luc, near Troyes, in 1957 under Michelin. It started passenger car steel wheel production in 1958 and launched truck wheel production in 1970. In 2001 Michelin separated the wheel business unit from the group and created Michelin Roues France S.A.S. mefro Group took over the total Michelin wheel business in 2005. Today mefro ROUES FRANCE is a company of the mefro wheels group.

The factory in La Chapelle St Luc produces a wide range of wheels for all original equipment manufacturers of passenger cars and trucks. Additionally we offer a complete range for the aftermarket.
